As summer arrives and the days are hot, nothing is more refreshing than a water break. Check out some of our favorite swimwear collections of 2020, covering interests of style, sport and sustainability.
This spring, Body Glove launched their first eco-conscious swimwear collection designed in collaboration with 2021 Olympic surfer Tatiana Weston-Webb. Choose from bikinis, one-pieces and cross-over active wear like leggings, shorts and sports bras that can be worn in and out of the water. These pieces are comfortable and stylish, and stay on through many summer activities.
prAna is known for its use of sustainable materials, and this season the company has announced a 100-percent sustainable swimwear collection. The Spring 2019 collection saved 2936 kilograms of fishnets from the ocean by using ECONYL recycled nylon. Along with the sustainability story, this swim collection features fun prints and silhouettes. These suits don’t move around or bunch up, making yoga on the beach much more enjoyable.
For those more active water endeavors, Nike Swim has launched a new sport collection for 2020. The silhouettes in this line are made for movement, deigned on active bodies of all sizes for a supported and flattering fit. For swim workouts, Onyx Flash Bonded Cut-Out One-Piece features a bonded back for coverage and comfort, plus fun detailing to add a bit of flash on this sporty fit.
