Employee or client testimonies:
“I have been seeing Kamie for private instruction for about two years now. I originally came to her for help with plantar fasciitis and my bad yoga form, hoping only for a jump start to a safer, smarter yoga practice. It had been years since I had even tried to do yoga and most of that time was spent in a sedentary job and lifestyle, so I was extremely inflexible and weak in my posterior chain. Not only did Kamie help me eliminate my plantar fasciitis and improve my flexibility, she impressed me at each session with her knowledge and insight. I decided that I may never be able to fully tap into all she has to offer, so I had better just keep seeing her. She truly brightens up my week with her intelligence and good humor. I am so glad I found her!” – Maggie
“I have been attending yoga classes and workshops through Kamie Slegers’ yoga studio for nearly two decades. I appreciate her ability to clearly explain and demonstrate yoga positions, as well as explain how each position is beneficial to specific areas of the body. Her expertise about the human body is evident when she does these explanations. She is an attentive instructor who will provide additional tips during class to insure each student is doing a position to the best of his or her ability. Kamie tailors every yoga class to the specific needs of those in attendance by asking ‘What do you need today?’ before starting class. Additionally, she easily adapts her classes for individuals who may not be able to do every pose due to a specific medical issue. Over the years, Kamie has continued to increase her knowledge by attending courses and workshops, and she brings that new expertise into her classes. I have seen Kamie’s classes continually evolve as she incorporates her new learning into her instruction, which makes her classes even more enjoyable. In addition, I have seen my own personal benefit from being in Kamie’s yoga classes as both my flexibility and strength has improved dramatically. I highly recommend Kamie as a yoga instructor and feel so fortunate to have been her student for all of these years!” – Alyson
