SPONSORED SPOTLIGHT

Shakti Revealed: Mudra Yoga Studio’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Location: 1550 South Pearl St. Suite 202, Denver, Colorado

Dates: Begins February 1, 2019

The heart of Mudra Yoga Studio began over 40 years ago in a local Colorado kindergarten class when two kindred souls met. While at the time Tracey Lanham and Heather Lindemann were more interested in playing dress up than searching for enlightenment, the friendship and bond that formed is the foundation for Mudra Yoga Studio.

Heather and Tracey’s mission at Mudra Yoga Studio is to make yoga accessible and approachable for anyone while also offering an opportunity for a deep, transformative experience. The studio is designed to be warm, inviting and beautiful. Classes are guided by soulful, experienced teachers in a safe environment where students can deepen their own unique, personal practice without feeling overwhelmed or pressured.

From this place, Mudra Yoga Studio is once again offering students an opportunity to deepen and expand their practice with Shakti Revealed, a unique, one-of-a-kind 200-hour yoga teacher training. This seven-month yoga teacher training study begins February 1, 2019 and links the ancient traditions of yoga with the wisdom and grace of energetics.

Shakti Revealed is Yoga Alliance certified and provides an in-depth study while offering a unique, small-group perspective. The training covers a wide swath of study including asana and alignment, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, mantra, meditation and teaching methodology. Students will receive exposure to a variety of teaching stylessuch as Hatha, Yoga Nidra, vinyasa, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga and suggestions for teaching to various populations. The training pairs the intellectual study of yoga philosophy, lifestyle and ethics with physical practice and discussion of anatomy and physiology.

Most unique to Shakti Reveled is the focus on energetics. Each module explores a different chakra (energetic “wheel”) and how that chakra is embodied in the yoga practice. Unlike some trainings that might spend a short, 2-hour lecture on energetics, Shakti Revealed is rooted in energetics as the foundation of a practice that can help yoga teachers offer a profound experience for students.

Whether you’re interested in yoga teacher training or a just a great yoga class, check out this sweet, community-focused studio. Mudra Yoga Studio has two locations on South Pearl Street and South Holly Street in Denver.

Testimonial

“Mudra Yoga Studio’s teacher training was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. It released in me something I had lost, and I feel thrust into a newfound clarity about my purpose in life. Tracey and Heather are extraordinarily gifted at creating a space that embraces every aspect of humanity with grace, compassion & humor. What a rare find in this world. And what a lucky group we were to have them as our teachers.”

-Andrea B. 2015 YTT Graduate
