Aventura’s Lyra Skirt is a cold-weather essential if you’re looking to dress up your winter style. The 18-inch, pull-on skirt has an elastic waistband so it fits to your body comfortably. I’m on the shorter side, and the length stops just above my knee, which I find flatters the hips and leg-line. The material is thick and warm, and paired with tights/leggings and high-knee boots, it worked perfectly for an average late fall/early winter Colorado day. I have it in the color “sable” and threw a cream sweater on top — I definitely got a compliment or two wearing this outfit!
The skirt is very flexible and functional, ideal for a day running errands or working and a dinner out with friends to follow. The eye-catching pattern on the left side and the unique zipper detail make it fashionable and very festive looking for the holiday season and into the new year.
Aventura is Fair Trade Certified, this skirt included. The company also pays an additional premium directly back to the workers who make their clothes. Plus, over 75 percent of their styles use lower impact or sustainable materials. It’s a family-owned and operated mission, and their clothes reflect that with durable, long-lasting material and styles.
The skirt runs large, as I had to reorder an XS when I’m normally a S. Order a size smaller and you’ll be ready to sport this winter skirt in no time.
