Mountain Harvest Festival
Paonia, Colorado
September 26-29

Kick off the fall season with Colorado’s homegrown produce, local music, wine and art at the 20th annual Mountain Harvest Festival in Paonia, Colorado from September 26 through 29. The four-day festival will include entertainment and activities for the whole family, from the Great Chili Cookoff and Grape Stomp to the Saturday Sundown Swing.Mountain Harvest Festival

“It’s a celebration of all things Paonia, so it’s a fall harvest celebration. We offer four days of everything from poetry readings, yoga, bike events, a bike parade and music. Everything is free and open to the public except for the Saturday night music, which is ticketed,” says Josh Behrman, festival organizer.

Each day is packed full of performances, food and activities, including farm-to-table dinners, a photography exhibition, a pie contest, local brews, farm and wine tours, a vegan potluck, a variety of kid-friendly activities and much more.

“There’s camping available, and the farm-to-table dinners are amazing. It’s free and open to the public, and it’s a great way to spend a few days on the Western Slope,” Behrman says.

The annual festival is organized by the nonprofit Mountain Harvest Creative, which aims to serve agricultural and arts communities in the North Fork Valley through education and collaboration.
