As winter fades away and the promise of spring blooms, Spavia Day Spa has unveiled its latest indulgence for skincare enthusiasts: the Thyme Eraser Spring Renewal Facial. Promising to usher in the season with a fresh face, this limited-time facial is a fusion of organic, clean and invigorating FarmHouse Fresh products, curated to revive tired winter skin.

From the moment I stepped into Spavia Day Spa in Greenwood Village, Colorado, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility. The soft lighting, gentle fragrance and welcoming smiles of the staff instantly set the stage for what promised to be a blissful escape from the outside world. Spavia Day Spa

With the Thyme Eraser Spring Renewal Facial ($149 at my location), Spavia aims to address common concerns such as dryness, fine lines and redness, delivering an experience that pampers the skin with visible results. Drawing from a selection of ingredients, including seaberry fruit oil, vitamin C and green tea extract, the facial aims to nourish, brighten and tighten the complexion.

My curiosity piqued, I ventured into the treatment room where I was greeted by lead esthetician Melanie Maestas. With a brief consultation to understand my skincare concerns and preferences, she customized the Thyme Eraser Spring Renewal Facial to address my needs, ensuring that every step of the journey would be tailored to deliver optimal results.

The experience began with a gentle cleansing using the Make It Melt Silky Milk Cleansing Balm, which instantly soothed my senses. Next, the Pudding Apeel Tapioca + Rice Active Fruit Glycolic Mask to exfoliate and reveal smoother skin underneath. The pampering continued with a hand and arm massage, a nourishing lip treatment and expert extractions (okay, extractions can be uncomfortable, but so worth it).

A highlight of the Thyme Eraser Spring Renewal Facial is the incorporation of FarmHouse Fresh farmer-grown thyme extract, featured in the Thyme Swipe peel pads. This component refines and balances the skin, preparing it for the subsequent stages of rejuvenation: a facial and neck massage with hot stones. At this point, I became fully present and ready to enter the new season with a fresh look — inside and out.

As the facial drew to a close, Maestas applied a matcha face mask, cocooning my skin in a veil of nourishment, followed by hydration and balancing with a serum and the Fields of Green Organic Matcha Ultra-Soothing Moisturizer containing FarmHouse Fresh-grown alfalfa extract. After finishing with SPF, I was prepared to feel the spring sun on my skin again.

Since the first Spavia opened its doors in 2005 in Denver, the brand continues to expand its footprint, with 58 locations currently open in 23 states. For anyone seeking a moment of respite from the demands of everyday life, I recommend indulging in the Thyme Eraser Spring Renewal Facial, available until May 31, 2024. Your skin will thank you for it.
