This spacious studio in the heart of Colorado’s North Fork Valley allows all humans to connect to their most expansive self. Yoga Tree provides abundant space for practitioners to stretch, twist and breathe freely, fostering an environment of tranquility and growth. Its ample dimensions accommodate individuals of varying skill levels, from beginners seeking solace to advanced yogis deepening their practice.

Every class remains lyengar based. Meaning, the instruction emphasizes the body’s structural alignment through the physical, asana, practice. This ensures students are safely shifting from shape to shape. Studio owner and yoga leader, Patty Creighton, says classes also stress yogic values as well.

Furthermore, the studio benefits from the expertise of two team members with over 50 years of yoga training and teaching experience. Notably, Nancy Stechert, the founder, stands as one of the most senior trained lyengar instructors in the world. Amidst the majestic landscape outside, the studio serves as a sanctuary, offering a retreat from the bustle of daily life.

“[There are] a variety of classes from beginning to advanced, and a beautiful facility with all equipment needed,” passionate student Renee says. “Just show up!”

Functional breathing classes are also very popular here. The goal of this practice is for students to live more aligned lives through personalized breathwork. Students also learn exercises to do at home to help better achieve their breath practice and goals.

“Here at Yoga Tree, we try to educate that yoga is so much more than the exercise,” Patty adds. She is dedicated to serving her community through yoga.
