There’s no better time I could write this review, as I’m currently wearing the Helly Hansen Wool Travel Pants as I sit at my desk. I’m also planning to wear them during on an overseas flight next week, and I’m certain they’ll be a suitcase staple for many travels to come. Their versatility is a main attribute, as these pants can be worn at the office, on a plane, running errands and out on a hike.
The stretchy, soft and comfortable wool mix fabric contains 60-percent recycled wool; it has a little stretch but doesn’t get stretched out, so the pants don’t start looking sloppy half way through the day. Their cut, paired with hip hand pockets, give these a trouser-feel, yet the back zipped pocket adds a technical detail that’s perfect for moving from one place to another without losing your stuff.
I appreciate the elastic waist and bottom pant hem (with a flat front) because sitting down doesn’t create constriction. This is incredibly appealing while sitting on a plane, and just as much so at my desk. Movement is never restricted, so I could wear these for light yoga or an easy hike. The pants are cozy and warm, yet the wool blend is regulating both hot and cold temperatures. Whether you’re on the road or just doing your everyday tasks, these pants are the perfect companion for it all.
