Pyar&Co., a Chicago-based home luxury brand, just launched their — and it is more than just a pretty design. Composed of 100 percent leather and copper plated hardware, this bag has enough room for your yoga mat, plus your water bottle, change of clothes, towel and anything else you may need. The removable and adjustable straps fit to you, and there are multiple little pockets to stash your hair ties and gym cards throughout. Take it to a yoga class or use as a weekender bag.
Paula Queen founded Pyar&Co. in 2011 after her first visit to India to celebrate her marriage. Inspired by the luxurious design of saris there, Queen sought out to translate this beauty into home and fashion accessories back in America, and the business was born. Its mantra: Pure Love. Pure Luxury.
I love how easy it is to personalize this bag to fit my needs. I keep hair ties in the outer pockets, stash my yoga mat, fresh clothes and shower tools inside, and can adjust the strap so the bag fits my petite build seamlessly.
This roomy, convenient bag comes in two sizes (medium and large) and three hues (rose gold, distressed black and silver). I tried out the rose gold in size large, and instantly felt the glamour with its first use walking to a yoga class at my local health club.
As a Colorado yogi, I personally find the rose gold design better suited to an urban style. However, the bag’s functionality and high-quality became my favorite part, which is why I continue to use it again and again.
Retailing for $160, this pack is on the pricier side, but as a luxury yoga studio companion, it may be well worth the investment. I’d be interested to check out the distressed black and silver hues for a more earthy vibe, but recommend my rose gold bag to any stylish yogis out there looking to glam up their practice.
The adaptability, durability and personal twist this Yoga Bag offers is worth checking out. It’s available for purchase atand in retailers in the U.S. and Canada.
