What could be better than a yoga class with beautiful music in the background? How about a yoga class with beautiful LIVE music! REMIX: Young Professionals of the Colorado Symphony is collaborating with Colorado Ballet’s Backstage Barre to bring you Music Moves: Yoga + Live Music on March 13.

Held at the Colorado Ballet Studio, this unique yoga event for all levels will feature live music performed by the Colorado Symphony’s Assistant Principal Oboist Nicholas Tisherman and yoga instruction by Core Power’s Bird Yarbnough. Experience yoga’s mind-body connection like never before through this harmonious blend of music and movement.

A perennial favorite, Music Moves is a fantastic way to add variety to your yoga routine, experience the sounds of the Colorado Symphony and enjoy the atmosphere of the Colorado Ballet. Bring your yoga mat, appropriate clothing for your best downward dog and your love of music — we’ll provide the rest!

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and yoga starts at 7 p.m. You can register in advance or at the door. We look forward to seeing you there!

Marilyn Brock has worked for various performing arts and event organizations, including Seattle Opera, Canto Deo Choirs, the Boulder Philharmonic, AXS, and others, and her career has encompassed a diverse range of nonprofit, academic, for-profit, and performance roles. As a soloist and choral singer, Brock has performed in venues across the United States and Europe, including New York City’s renowned David Geffen Hall, formerly known as Avery Fisher Hall. In addition to her role as Marketing Committee Chair for REMIX: Young Professionals of the Colorado Symphony, Brock serves as Director of Finance and Development for Nebula Ensemble.
